Band who never disapoint venue a little jewell
Boarder from Leicester: Young band inventive enough to overcome their limitations, showing great promise with fuzzy garage punk.
Nervous Twitch from Leeds: Garage surf, Ramones, quirky girl song humour. Liked what they are about just a bit clunky at times. But enjoyed them.
Pet Crow Derby: 3rd time Ive seen them and they keep getting better. 1st time in hometown Derby. Inventive, tight rythmic, indie post punk. They always have fun on stage, relaxed and not too serious, but do their jobs. I couldnt stand still - Pet Crow are movers to watch.
Sound was good for all bands and a good atmosphere for all of them.
Dubrek Studios - what a find and a little jewel. Deserves support from music fans of Derby. Food limited to two dishes, but it is excellent and sells out quickly. Worth the car journey from Coventry and the snotty drive home. Great gig, great little and I mean little, venue but with a warm heart.
