The Freshers Priority Pass is strictly for NTU first year students. If you are not an NTU first year student you will not be permitted to use a pass to attend Nottingham Trent Freshers events and no refunds will be given to those trying to do so. By ticking this box you confirm that you are an NTU First Year Student as defined below:
Definition of NTU First Year Students:NTU first year students are those that have accepted a place on a full-time or part-time course starting in September/October 2020 at either: Nottingham Trent University, Confetti, Nottingham College, Nottingham Trent International College or NTU in Mansfield. This includes postgraduate as well as undergraduate courses. Students that have relocated from another university and are enrolling at Nottingham Trent University for the first time are also included. Students retaking part or all of their first year are also classed as First Year Students.

These events are strictly for NTU first year students over the age of 18 only. See definition of “NTU first year student” below. If you are not an NTU first year student you will not be permitted to attend Nottingham Trent Freshers events and no refunds will be given to those trying to do so.
In order to gain entry to events where alcohol is being served, you must show one of the following forms of 18+ age verification ID: passport, driving licence or PASS accredited card (see www.pass-scheme.org.uk for details). Failure to present one of these forms of ID at the venue will result in you not being able to attend the event.
Event tickets are non-transferable once booked or purchased. If Nottingham Trent Students’ Union (NTSU) are no longer able to offer Freshers Events due to government restrictions or other changes beyond our control, we will endeavor to provide suitable replacement events. If this is not possible, due to government restrictions or other changes beyond our control, Nottingham Trent Students’ Union will refund the fee you have paid for the event or a portion of the Freshers Priority Pass fee equivalent to the value of the unused portion of your Freshers Priority Pass. Booking fees are controlled by a third-party provider and they are used to cover administration and bank charges, therefore NTSU would be unable to offer a refund on this portion of the payment.
You may receive specific time slots to attend events. This is to help with the safe management of entry and it is important you stick to the times given. We cannot allow entry if you do not arrive at the time and date given.
Rights of admission are reserved by each venue.
Venues will be following strict procedures in order to comply with current government guidance. Anyone not adhering to venue requirements will be ejected from the venue.
All events have limited capacities so space cannot be guaranteed.
You may be contacted via e-mail, text message or phone, for the purpose of this event and ticket fulfilment.
In order to adhere to official Government guidance, NTSU may be required to pass on your contact information, as well as dates and times of your visit to NHS Track & Trace or Public Health departments. NTSU will only share your details if they are requested.

Venue Info: There are a total of five bars in Rock City serving a range of alcoholic beverages as well as soft drinks. Rock City is divided into three rooms which are the main hall, basement and rig each with designated bars and seating areas. The Rescue Rooms is open for pre/after show drinks. Other onsite facilities at Rock City include a cloak room, and cash machine. For the cloak room all items are charged at £1.50 per item.
No under 18s (Some events stated as over 14'). No professional cameras or audio recording devices. No crowd surfing. No alcohol to be brought into the premises.
From North exit M1 at Junction 25. Follow A52 to city centre and look for signs posts to the Nottingham Trent University, follow directions down Talbot Street. Go past a set of traffic lights about 200 yards and Rock City is on your left handside. From M1 Junction 26. Follow A610 into city centre, look for signs for Nottingham Trent University and follow down Talbot Street. Rock City is 200 yards from the first set of traffic lights. All other routes, head for city centre and follow the tourist signs to Nottingham Trent University.
