Latest information

Country rock singer and guitarist Lissie has written and recorded six studio albums including her latest LP Carving Canyons.

Where is Lissie playing?

Lissie now announces shows at around the U.K in February.

Who is Lissie?

Elisabeth Corrin Maurus began her career in music whilst a college student where she would perform as the supporting act for out-of-town visiting musicians. She began to emerge after she collaborated with DJ Harry on the song All Of My Life which would be used in prominent television shows such as House, The O.C., Wildfire and Veronica Mars.

Maurus self-produced an eponymously titled debut EP which began to get airplay which preceeded an invite from Lenny Kravitz to play support on his 2008 tour. She released another EP titled Why You Runnin’ the following year through the label Fat Possum. The record featured the track Oh Mississippi which was co-written Ed Harcourt and attracted favourable press attention.

Signing to Columbia Records, she released her debut album Catching A Tiger in 2010 which hit #12 in the UK Album Charts. This was followed by her incredible second album Back To Forever in 2013.

Lissie’s new album, 'Carving Canyons' finds the acclaimed singer-songwriter digging deep to carry on through life’s many uncertainties. The singer-songwriter’s fifth album is her most personal expression yet, with twelve songs that chart the ripples caused by heartbreak and loneliness as well as what happens when the soul perseveres amidst pain. 'Carving Canyons' is about looking within while dealing with the uncertainty of the future-finding hope in personal and worldly adversity, no matter what the forecast might say.

Another great one!

One more wonderful show from Lissie. 3rd time seeing her and she's getting better every time. Probably my favourite venue as well. Had never been in Village Underground before. Fingers crossed she'll do another one there again soon. The support was brilliant as well, both artists. What a lovely night.
