Join King Kuda as they celebrate the release of Wildflower!

King Kuda is a traditional four-piece band with an indie pop-groove sound. Ollie (vocals), Chris (guitar), Charlie (drums) and Perry (bass) came together as housemates while at university in Guildford. They clicked immediately and soon converted the living room into a rehearsal area where they have developed their new wave psychedelic style and penned their first songs.

Their first EP, “Lately / Halfway to Neptune”, was released in October 2017. Since then they have been playing gigs in and around Guildford and London and have received attention from radio stations such as Capital FM and Eagle radio. In November 2017 they appeared on BBC Introducing, where presenter Melita Dennett said that King Kuda is, “A band with an ear for a great pop record.”

Producer and artist George Moran, (Miles Kane and Wulfman Fury) said, “In the four years I’ve been recording artists, King Kuda are the most exciting band I’ve worked with.” Ollie comments, “Soon after moving in together, forming a band was inevitable. We get on really well and this comes across when we focus on the serious business of writing, rehearsing and performing. We’ve been together for more than a year now and the band has become more like a brotherhood. We’re loving it.”

With many more songs and a video in the pipeline, King Kuda are looking to bring their music to a wider audience through new releases, radio and live appearances.
