Any customers wishing to purchase either a disabled or wheelchair platform ticket for Kew the Music 2016, please contact the promoter at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please see Getting there section of www.kew.org/music for full travel information.
We strongly encourage the use of public transport on the concert evenings.
Parking is extremely limited in the local area, so avoid the hassle, help the environment and use public transport where possible. On concert evenings there is free parking at Brentford Gate car park reached via Ferry Lane off Kew Green. Please note, however, spaces are limited, and on a first come, first served basis. From the car park it is a 20-minute walk to enter the concert site at Victoria Gate on Kew Road. Limited free parking is also available on sections of the west side (Kew Gardens side) of Kew Road after 10:00 am.
There are three marked disabled parking spaces on Kew Green c 700m from the nearest concert entrance at Victoria Gate“ these are public spaces on the public highway, and are available on a first come, first served basis. Kew is unable to reserve any spaces specifically so we advise to leave in plenty of time to secure a parking space closest to your chosen entry gate. See also www.kew.org/concertacccess.
Tickets for Carers
Ticket holders can have one free ticket for an essential carer to accompany them. To qualify you need to meet one/both of the following conditions: A. in receipt of disability living allowance or attendance allowance. B. a registered blind person.
See above note on parking.
Access to the arena
Disabled guests plus an additional carer may enter the concert site from 5.45pm, a quarter of an hour before general public access, via Pavilion Gate on Kew Road. This is away from the main queues and will be clearly marked with a banner. This is the nearest gate to the arena site with the shortest, flattest route. Please note that guests will not be able to leave via this route and should leave the site via Victoria or Lion Gate.
If preferred, disabled guests may enter the site with the rest of the public at 6pm via Victoria and Lion Gates.
The Summer Swing site has flat, step-free access throughout.
A designated viewing area is available at the concert site for wheelchair users only.
As guests often arrive early, if you have difficulties standing, we recommend you bring a folding chair.
Accessible toilets are available at the temporary mobile toilet block and the Pavilion Gate toilets.
There are wheelchairs at all gates available on a first come, first served basis “ no pre-booking.
Registered assistance dogs are welcome.
Strobe lighting may feature in concerts. Please contact 020 8332 6555 for further information on the concert you are attending
