Worth every penny.
I was amazed that the audience was not larger, but when it clashed with a Napalm Death gig, I suppose I shouldn't be.
In truth I made the journey, booked the tickets, booked the hotel to see the support band. Ghost Bath were superb and "marmite" band they may be, they were even better, more raw, live than on album! Hugely impressive performance by a band I count myself lucky to have seen and to have been "up front" with. Now I just want to see more of them next time round?
Katatonia were excellent and although they may not be totally my cup of tea, their musicianship was amazing and they had their fans in a state of ecstasy. Well done The Slade Rooms, you've cracked it again!
