right band, right place, right time
First heard, and loved James Edwyn and the Borrowed Band years ago, but never seen them live and wasn't following on social media .... until saw a billboard on the main street in Broughty Ferry saying they were playing there live that night.
Couldn't miss the opportunity. It was a great show, in a low key local venue. The band were brilliant, and so friendly and accessible to chat to between sets. I hope they're recording their shows 'cos their live performance is amazing - musically, emotionally and with that infamous Scottish dry humour. Never thought I'd be rockin in a masonic hall, but the venue was great- these places were built with brilliant acoustics and I'm so pleased they are opening up to touring bands.
