About Giovanni Allevi
After being immersed in classical music during his childhood, Giovanni Allevi studied the theory of classical music intensely and started to write his own pieces whilst performing as a classical concert performer throughout Italy.
His work outlines a new view on Contemporary Classical Music through an educated and emotional language that distances itself from the dodecaphonic and minimalist experience to reaffirm a new rhythmic and melodic European intensity.
