New monthly showcase F.T.F.H (Finding the Female Headliners) will launch on Thursday 13th August for a monthly residency at Birthdays, Dalston from 8pm - midnight. The night, a partnership between promoter Robomagic live and Amazing Radio, is exclusively for female artists and female fronted bands.
Earlier in the year the press highlighted the lack of female musicians on our UK Festival line ups and even more worrying the absence of female headliners in general. However Glastonbury recently bumped leading female artist Florence Welch up the bill following the withdrawal of The Foo Fighters. (Woo Hoo!)
