Performing Artists

On Saturday 12th March 2022, Cult of Luna will return to London to curate the second 'Beyond The Redshift':

The cosmological redshift is caused by the expansion of space. The wavelength of light increases as it traverses the expanding universe. Unable to assume that we have a special place within this universe, the redshift suggests to us that everything is moving away from everything else…

We may not be able to go beyond the redshift, but we can certainly think beyond it. We are bringing together artists who expand within their space - artists who create something special within this space.

The festival will once again run across three venues - The Forum, The Dome and Boston Music Room. Alongside an all-encompassing and exhilarating headline performance from Cult of Luna will be French blackgaze trailblazers Alcest; post-hardcore exploration from the mainland in the form of Brutus and Birds In Row; the cream of the UK's heavy scene with Bossk and Svalbard; an exclusive album rendition from A.A. Williams; plus much more.

Cult of Luna's Johannes Persson comments:

"We wanted to create a family affair with the curation and bring together friends, touring partners, a flavour from the host country and also from our homeland; with that in mind you'll find a showcase of the finest artists Sweden has to offer, all hand-picked by us for you to discover and enjoy."

'Beyond The Redshift' 2022 lineup:

Cult of Luna
A.A. Williams
Birds In Row
This Gift Is A Curse
