Lovely evening at Eltham Palace
We’ve been to this event before and it was very nice but this year was so much better - very well organised, safer (less mud as there were rubber mats to walk on) and the lighting displays were incredible - so pretty and atmospheric. We particularly liked the one with the disco balls in the tree!

Much better display than last year
After last year's disappointing trail, we were in two minds as to whether to go again this year. As a different company was involved in the display, we decided to give it a go and are glad that we did. There was a lovely festive atmosphere, the grounds and the house itself were beautifully lit and there were plenty of refreshment choices. We had delicious Baileys hot chocolate and the children enjoyed toasting marshmallows at the firepits.
We were a little disappointed that there were no tunnels of lights (as shown in the adverts) but we only realised when we got home so it clearly didn't spoil out evening.
