Newport based power pop quartet Burning Ferns formed in 2010. The four-piece consist of Tony Gray (guitar/vocals), Nathan Abraham (guitar/vocals), Brychan Todd (bass/keyboards) and Slim Short (drums). They have released three studio albums, including See Saw Seen (2013), Public Mono (2018) and World of the Wars (2023).

Burning Ferns, Le Pub, Newport - 30th March 2024
First time seeing the Ferns but heard loads about them. Excellent support from Spencer Segelov but the Ferns kicked ass. Great tunes, great visuals and really ace to watch. Really cool gear too
