‘With The Tides’ is the second single release from Southend based multi instrumentalist Chris Usselman who under the artist moniker USSELMAN has created a debut album filled with a rich alternative pop intensity to be released by Blow Up Records in the summer 2018. Debut single ‘Tongue Tied’ (Dec 2017) received radio support from: Steve Lamacq BBC 6 Music, Producer Pick BBC Essex Introducing, whilst various international stations including Radio Alpa (France) , Byte FM, Couch FM, (Germany )and US college radio also picked up on the single.

Vocalist, art rocker/pop poet, Guy Sangster-Adams, with multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, Alexander Mayor (front man of Alexander’s Festival Hall, formerly one third of Baxendale), and Parisienne singer and musician, Fanny Kaminski, performing new songs following on from Guy Sangster-Adams’ well received debut EP, To the Fore.

‘combing a poet’s eye with an art rocker’s ear to offer brilliantly observed and subtly woven, lyrical and pop cultural romantic tales’
– Murray Lachlan Young, poet, broadcaster, BBC6 Music poet-in-residence

‘reminds me of songs I love from the past, like Squeeze’s Up the Junction and the first Soft Cell album, as well as Roxy Music and Pulp'
– Cathi Unsworth, novelist

Blow Up - Expect to hear classic tracks from both Blow Up's past and present: from Brit Pop era favourites (the scene which the club kick-start way back in 1993 in Camden Town) to the current new Pop & indie stylists putting the art back into pop colliding with 60's Soul, Beat, Garage, Funk, Ska, Swinging Soundtracks, Hammond Heavy Jazz, Easy Listening & Ye-Ye! Brit Pop, Glam & Post Punk / New Wave will all be present and correct.
