São Paulo-based carnival collective takes over our famed celebration of Brazilian musical culture.

Led by saxophonist Thiago França — founding member of Afro-punk pioneers Metá Metá — Espetacular Charanga do França started as a political act turning São Paulo into a revelation of Brazilian carnival in full brass-band form.

Reclaiming their streets and celebrating the countries radical musical roots and culture, they bring a euphoric, high-energy celebration of rhythm, resistance and cultural pride. 

From the heart of São Paulo they join us to bring a night of Brazilian brilliance.

There is one step to enter the venue, and we have a ramp available which our door team will assist in putting in place when required.
