Finnish heavy/power metal band Battle Beast are the perfect choice for those that like it hard and heavy.
Formed in 2008, the Scandinavian sextet consist of Juuso Soinio (rhythm guitar), Pyry Vikki (drums), Eero Sipilä (bass, backing vocals), Janne Björkroth (keys, backing vocals), Noora Louhimo (lead vocals), Joona Björkroth (lead guitar, backing vocals).
They have released six studio albums, including Steel (2011), Battle Beast (2013), Unholy Saviour (015), Bringer of Pain (2017), No More Hollywood Endings (2019) and Circus of Doom (2022) – the latter four of which topped the charts in their home country.

Battle Beast, Academy 2, Manchester - 1st October 2024
I've been to a lot of concerts over the years and seen some truly incredible shows, this performance by Battle Beast is way up there as one of the best shows I've seen. Battle Beast are one of those bands you have to see live. They perform with such high energy, they really get the crowd going from the moment the first song begins until the last song ends, the crowd was loud and fully engaged from start to finish, and the band loved the interaction with the crowd, with sing alongs and banter, it was incredible. The band was awesome and have great songs, but of course the reason why a lot of people are pulled in by this band is Noora and her outstanding vocals. She is what sets this band aside with her powerful, raspy but beautiful vocals, and she's an incredible frontwoman too, always engaging with and getting the crowd going. She has to be one of the best metal vocalists, especially live, of all time. It was my sons first ever gig and he loved it. I cannot wait for Battle Beast to come back to Manchester. Also I have to mention, both Serenity and Brymir were brilliant to and a great warm up. I didn't know much about either band but I'm now discovering them and their music. All in all, one of the best concerts I've ever been to... 🤘🤘
