About As Elephants Are
A Elephants Are were formed in High Wycombe in 2011 after Ben (vocals/guitar) and Harry (bass) had to collaborate on the writing and recording of music for their college music course. Realising that there was no one else like-minded on the course they recruited an old school friend each in Joe (guitar) and Rob (drums) to complete the recording line up. Collectively inspired by the success of bands like Bombay Bicycle Club and The Maccabees, all four had been music obsessives from a young age but this was the first time they had ever played music with other people who felt the same way.
