Born in New York in 1981, Alicia Keys has propelled herself from humble origins to become a true R&B icon. Since the release of her soulful, entrancing debut album ‘Songs in A Minor’ at the tender age of 20, the global superstar has gone on to sell well over 30 million albums and has performed in front of mesmerised audiences across the world. If you don’t want to miss out on the next Alicia Keys tour, be sure to check our website.

It’s no wonder that Alicia Keys tickets are in such high demand. ‘Songs in A Minor’, complete with its hit singles ‘Fallin’’ and ‘A Woman’s Worth’, sold in excess of 12 million copies and it earned her an impressive five Grammy Awards in 2002, including Best New Artist.

Her second studio album, ‘The Diary of Alicia Keys’, was released in 2003 and proved to be another blockbuster, selling eight million copies. Her third and fourth albums, ‘As I Am’ (2007) and ‘The Element of Freedom’ (2009), were also a lapped up by fans and critics alike, and the latter saw her top the charts in the UK.

Keys then briefly took a step back from the limelight, getting hitched to hip hop artist Swizz Beatz and starting a family, but it wasn’t long before she was back in the studio. In 2012, she released ‘Girl on Fire’, which is yet another example of perfectly executed, sophisticated urban soul. The album opens with the track Brand New Me. Co-written by the super-talented Emeli Sandé, it features a classic Alicia Keys piano motif and draws the listener in from the very first note.

Keys has certainly earned the respect and admiration of her fellow recording artists over the years. Lavishing praise on her, music legend Bob Dylan once said “There’s nothing about that girl I don’t like.” Meanwhile, some of her most well-known tracks have been collaborations with the industry’s hottest acts. For example, she teamed up with Beyoncé on the track ‘Put It In A Love Song’ and her work with Jay-Z on ‘Empire State of Mind’ led to truly spine-tingling results.

If you want to get a taste of what it’s like to experience the magic of Alicia Keys concerts, check out her 2013 live album ‘VH1 Storytellers’.

Keys cites Marvin Gaye, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder and The Notorious B.I.G. among her musical influences, but there’s no doubt that this lady has style all of her own.
