About Jacob Whitesides
Young Tennessee prodigy Jacob Whitesides has already the makings of a guitar playing legend. The singer / songwriter has earned widespread fame with his melodic pop and massively popular online cover songs which have amassed over 17 million views.

Born into the Country capital of Knoxville, Whitesides developed a interest for music whilst attending a bluegrass festival as a child and threw himself into his newfound passion. He quickly gained international attention after successfully auditioning on the USA edition of hit televised singing talent competition The X Factor whilst aged only 14 in 2012.

He released his debut EP entitled 3AM only two years later. The record featured cover songs of Plain White T’s, John Mayer, John Legend, Sam Smith plus Ed Sheeran and sent Whitesides to #26 on the Billboard 200. This was followed be a second EP A Piece Of Me in 2015. After being declared the Next Big Thing by Radio Disney he was invited to perform his single Secrets on Good Morning America and released third EP Faces On Film. By the end of the year Spotify had labelled him as one of the biggest artist expected to emerge in 2016.
Whitesides recently announced his debut album would be named Why? Recorded and mixed in country heartland Nashville in six weeks, the record marked a flurry of creativity for the young artist.
