John Bishop is a Liverpudlian stand-up comedian, specialising in observational comedy - putting a humorous spin on everyday, real-life situations for laughs.
Renowned as one of the best comedians currently on the circuit, John has received various accolades since completing his first stand-up gig in 2000; making it to the finals of all major new act competitions in 2001, being named best newcomer by Radio Merseyside in 2002, winning the North West Comedy Award in 2004, and earning a nomination for the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2009.
On one of his most recent tours, John played to over 400,000 fans and topped the charts with the fastest selling stand-up DVD of all time. Suffice it to say, this Scouser is a popular one!
