New York musician Thomas Truax rose to prominence in the 90’s, growing in the cities fertile antifolk scene he became somewhat of a permanent fixture at the Sidewalk Café in Lower East Side Manhattan.
The intrepid aural explorer began to develop his style, and with this evolution came the construction of varied and increasingly odd instruments. His debut album Full Moon Over Wowtown came out in 2002 and has been subsequently followed by the records Audio Addiction, Why Dogs Howl At The Moon, Songs From The Films Of David Lynch, Sonic Dreamer, Monthly Journal, Trolls, Girls & Lullibies plus his latest release; Jetstream Sunset.
