Wakefield-based indie pop trio The Research tackle themes of love, loss and despair. The three-piece consists of Russell 'The Disaster' Searle (vocals/guitar/synths), Georgia Lashbrook (bass/vocals/harmonica), and Sarah Williams (drums/vocals).
The have released the albums Breaking Up (2006) and The Old Terminal (2008) and double A-side single "Back To The Real World" / "Feels Like The First Time" (2023).
