The Dan Reed Network formed back in 1984 in Portland. The funk rockers made up of Dan Reed, Dan Pred, Brion James, Melvin Brannon II and Blake Sakamoto released four studio albums before their split in 1993 with their recent reunion yet to bring to light any new music news. Following the initial demise of DRN in 1993, band leader Dan Reed went on to release several solo records, the latest being 2013's 'Signal Fire'.
