New York-based rock band WINGER formed in 1978, reaching their peak in the following decades with the platinum-selling albums Winger (1988) and In the Heart of the Young (1990). Their greatest hits include "Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak" and "Miles Away". The group now consists of Kip Winger (lead vocals, bass, acoustic guitar), Reb Beach (guitar, backing vocals, harmonica), Rod Morgenstein (drums), Paul Taylor (keys, guitar) and John Roth (guitar, backing vocals).
