Black Box
Black Box is one of the leading exponents of a wave of Italian House music that flourished on the dancefloors of the late 80s and early 90s. Black Box comprised three Italian studio musicians (Daniele Davoli, Mirko Limoni and Valerio Semplici), collectively known as Groove Groove Melody, plus front woman for the Black Box project Katrine (Catherine Quinol).
'Ride on Time' was an international hit and No. 1 in the UK, becoming the UK's best-selling single of 1989.
Shakatak
Shakatak are known primarily as serious jazz/funk musicians, enjoying both high cult status and instant recognition as a household name due to their numerous hit recordings.
For live performances the band consists of the four original members Bill Sharpe (keys), Jill Saward (lead vocals, percussion & flt), Roger Odell (drums) & George Anderson (bass guitar), augmented with a guitarist and a backing vocalist/saxophonist, producing a musically dynamic and entertaining show from the 6 piece line-up.
Angie Brown
South London singer/songwriter Angie Brown is probably best known as the incredible voice behind Bizarre Inc's 1993 smash hit, 'I'm Gonnna Get You'. She has also featured on numerous other records as well as working with mainstream acts including Fatboy Slim, Grace Jones, Beverley Knight and Lisa Stansfield. Brown has performed constantly around the UK, captivating audiences with a range of dance and house tracks.
Natasha Watts
Natasha is a critically acclaimed British Soul singer/songwriter from London - her self-titled debut album released in February 2014 is a 12-track, foot stomping collection of well-written musical greatness, oozing with funk, soul, and jazz and features Natasha’s trademark sultry soulful vocals. Natasha has had over thirty soulful house/afrobeat hit records, including 'Change', 'Go Slow' and 'Born a Star'.
