About Beatsteaks
Beatsteaks are the reggae and hard rock enthused punk band from Berlin. Having first formed 1995, they have grown to release a strong back catalogue and have established themselves on the world stage as one of the most exciting live acts around.
Their band members include drummer Thomas Götz, lead guitarist Bernd Kurtzke who is joined by rhythm guitarist Peter Baumann while Arnim Teutoburg-Weiß takes on lead vocals and with Torsten Scholz on bass.

The band’s huge back catalogue started with the release of their 1997 debut 48/49 which for many was their first introduction to the high energy act. Their creative output has remained massively prolific seeing them release seven studio albums including their latest which is eponymously titled and came out in 2014.
